About our Street Photography Camp Seattle
Thanks for always sending such great detailed emails about what you guys did for the day. It is clear to see that you have a true passion for not only photography, but for teaching young people about photography and all the while making it a fun adventure. I wish more people were as enthusiastic and passionate about what they do as you are!

Loved seeing the kids pictures, as well as the friendship and bond they formed together via your pictures. Your daily communications were appreciated and helped me reinforce what you were learning. A best in class experience for sure!
— Stephanie, 2018 Camper Mom
[Our son] has been going to summer camps since he was five, so he attends about 8 to 10 different camps every summer. Your camp is one of the best ones he has attended. He learned so much this week and as a parent I appreciate the daily communication. The photos were absolutely wonderful in the slide show, and then to see the children’s smiling faces mixed in made we fall in love with your program.

About our Travel Camps
I can’t thank you both enough for the amazing trip [my son] had. He went through each day, minute by minute, from what he ate, to what you did and everything beyond. He loved the places you stayed and the company you kept.
— Liz, Hamilton Middle School Mom
They all seemed just a little more grown up when they returned. [Our son] told us the trip was a 9.5 out of a possible 10. Wow! Travel has such great value. Thank you for sharing in this experience with the kids.
— T.W. (camper mom)
What an amazing experience for our kid! Kymber and Jay took such phenomenal care of our daughter and the trip was the perfect balance of connecting with locals, experiencing new food, participating in amazing activities, and connecting with a great group of girls. Our daughter was challenged and held and grew so much on this trip! We hope to be able to send her on another one of your trips in the future!
— A. and J. (camper parents)
Thanks so much for making it a special experience for the kids.
— M. (camper mom)
Thank you for providing a wonderful experience for [our daughter]. Last night, she was overflowing with stories and thoughts about the area and people of Oaxaca. She was excited to share what she learned about the people, culture and sites of Oaxaca. When I asked her if she would do this again, her answer was an enthusiastic “YES! I loved it!” That says it all for me.
— Mike, dad of Hamilton Middle School 8th grader
A huge thank you to you! … It was an incredible opportunity for the kids to have an adventure out in the world, learn about another place and its people, learn about one another, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.
— T. (camper mom)
I just wanted to provide my own (unsolicited) feedback about how much [our daughter] got out of this trip. She benefited so much by experiencing this without her parents. She came back with such an appreciation of the culture and was especially impacted by En Via and has expressed a desire to volunteer for the organization after college. Jay and Kymber did an amazing job keeping us informed during the trip and as you can imagine Jay took fantastic pictures.
— T.S. (camper mom)
It was an amazing and eye-opening experience. I learned so much about culture and life in Mexico… [Kymber and Jay] are so kind and caring, I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone else!
— C.R. (age 13)
We asked returning campers, “What would you tell a friend who was considering going next year?”
Definitely do it, it is a lot of fun, you learn so much, and you get to know the people you go with really well!
— A. (age 13)
I would tell them to go because for me it was an amazing experience and I learned so many new things.
— E. (age 13)
It is super fun!
— T. (age 13)
We asked returning campers, “How do you think you are different having had this experience?”
I think my Spanish pronunciation improved a lot.
— S. (age 12)
I realized how different some other people’s lives are and what being privileged actually means.
— C. (age 13)
I know new people, a new place, and think more about the culture we have here in the U.S.
— N. (age 13)
I learned that I can be uncomfortable and do things anyway. I am stronger than I thought.
